Ruby, Bobby and Trimmy

Ruby and Bobby were born one day apart their mothers were sisters so they are cousins and in the whole of their lives they have spent very little time apart.
Trimmy is about a year older.
They are 14 and 15 years old now, a few little creaks and perhaps their eyesight and hearing is not quite what it used to be, but they are still wonderful loving little Papillons.
All three of these beauties belong to a dear friend who wanted to capture their images together. I photographed them on the same day but separately and then put them together on the canvas.
I painted this in acrylics about 2 years ago, on an unusually large canvas being 18x24" presented in a floating frame.
Today - 2 June 2020 they are all still going strong, fingers crossed for the future.
